Christian McCaffrey on Heisman race, NFL dad, white guy cliches

Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey joined the show to talk about his season and more. Dan asked when he could beat his father Ed, a former NFL WR, in a 40. Christian said when he was in seventh grade. McCaffrey also talked about white guy cliches, his likely major (something about technology) and why he chose Stanford. McCaffrey also said he doesn’t care what position he plays in the future — he’s just happy to be playing football at this level.

Dan asked if he feels that he belongs in the Heisman race. McCaffrey said he doesn’t want to get involved in the Heisman hype. “I feel like I had a good year,” McCaffrey  said. “I’ll never give you a definite answer when it comes to that stuff.”
