Don Mattingly says kids great in clubhouse, but not right before game
Marlins manager Don Mattingly weighed in on the issue of having kids in the clubhouse after the controversy with Adam LaRoche in Chicago. Mattingly said he likes having kids in the clubhouse – it relaxes the player. But he said there should be a timeframe before a game where the kids shouldn’t be there – an hour before the game.
