Alan Shipnuck: This could be good time for Tiger to walk away
Sports Illustrated and GOLF.com writer Alan Shipnuck (@AlanShipnuck) joined the show to talk about his cover story on Tiger Woods. Shipnuck told Dan that he got limited access to Tiger because of his gold academy. But Shipnuck tried to dig into why he can’t win any more and what’s next.
“Tiger loves winning,” Shipnuck said. “Does he want to come back as a ceremonial figure? I don’t know if that’s his idea of a good time. … In some ways, this is a good time to walk away.”
Shipnuck says Tiger probably realizes he has some work to do to improve his relationship with other golfers and the fans.
