Byron Scott: “It was close” for Lakers between Russell and Porzingis
Former Lakers coach Byron Scott talked candidly about last year’s Draft. He said that the Lakers would have taken guard D’Angelo Russell again, but he paused when Dan asked about Kristaps Porzingis. Scott said that “it was close” last year, but Porzingis was out of shape when he came to town for a workout.
