Carr Shares Early NFL Takeaways

Former No. 1 pick David Carr joined us to break down Week 1 and life as an NFL quarterback. Carr explained why the OC is always a QB’s most important relationship, how pocket presence is both teachable and brutal in real time, and why veteran QBs crave ownership of the offense. He pointed to the Colts as a pleasant surprise and said Miami’s issues are more schematic than Tua-related. Carr also admitted he didn’t exactly want Caleb Williams to break his infamous sack record due to the extreme toll it can take on a young player’s body and mind.
