Millar: “You Just Can’t Pitch to Ohtani”
Kevin Millar says what Shohei Ohtani is doing just doesn’t make sense. The MLB Network analyst believes Ohtani might have reached Barry Bonds territory, a point where you simply can’t pitch to him. “You don’t want him to make you pay by hitting one in the parking lot,” Millar joked. He added that Max Scherzer’s mistake pitch was inexcusable and that in the World Series, you’d rather let Mookie Betts beat you than Ohtani. Still, Millar thinks Toronto isn’t done yet, as they have shown the ability to punch back all season.
