Thomas on NFL’s Playing Surface Problem

Joe Thomas joined the show today to break down the trenches in the NFL.  From inconsistent turf to the desperation that led Indianapolis to Philip Rivers, the Hall of Famer painted a blunt picture of league priorities. Thomas explained why a universal playing surface never happens, why certain fields are hated by linemen, and why Myles Garrett is essentially unblockable one on one. He also weighed in on Cleveland’s quarterback questions, Garrett’s reversed trade request, and why coming out of retirement is a hard no for him.
