Russo Not Ready to Crown Wemby Yet
Christopher Russo joined DP and the guys today to discuss game three of the NBA Finals. Russo agreed with DP that the pressure was on the Knicks in Game 3 and thought New York may have come out a little too amped up after two tightly contested games. He also pushed back on comparisons involving Victor Wembanyama, reminding listeners of the greatness of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Hakeem Olajuwon. Despite criticism from callers after picking the Spurs, Russo hasn’t backed off his concerns about New York and believes a Finals collapse would be devastating for Knicks fans and one of the franchise’s toughest losses ever.
