Wynalda: More Players, More Firepower
US National Soccer Hall of Famer Eric Wynalda joined the show and made it clear this U.S. team feels different. He believes the Americans are deeper and more dangerous offensively than past World Cup squads, with enough quality to go nearly 20 players deep. Playing at home only adds to the opportunity, and Wynalda doesn’t see a team the U.S. should fear because anything is possible in this event. He also praised the luxury of resting Christian Pulisic and called Spain’s teenage phenom Lamine Yamal a player who could transcend the sport.
