In his 46th season at NFL Films, Greg Cosell remains the gold standard for quarterback analysis. Breaking down Bo Nix and Drake Maye, Cosell said Maye throws the ball effortlessly and has way better traits than Nix. As for the Broncos quarterback, Nix’s ball placement and consistency remain concerns. He praised Daniel Jones’ despite a loss to the Steelers and noted Sam Darnold’s effectiveness in play action. As for second year quarterback Caleb Williams, Cosell called him a work in progress, adding that Ben Johnson’s complex offense will test his development early.
