MacMahon: New Ownership Syndrome Hit Dallas Hard
Tim MacMahon didn’t mince words when talking about Dallas’ front office mess. He called the Luka Doncic trade “GM malpractice,” saying the Mavericks’ historically bad offense and public frustration made Nico Harrison’s firing inevitable. MacMahon believes ownership deserves just as much blame, admitting they mishandled the deal and failed to create a competitive trade market. As for Luka, MacMahon praised his maturity and leadership with the Lakers, another blow for Dallas. All in all, the Lakers are in good shape with their new superstars, while Dallas, without many of the future first round picks, may just be at the beginning of a very ugly stretch.
