Belichick’s Resume Outweighs Spygate
ESPN National Correspondent Sal Paolantonio called Bill Belichick’s Hall of Fame snub shocking, saying he voted him as a first ballot Hall of Famer despite Spygate and the possibility of a return to coaching. For Paolantonio, the accomplishments far outweighed the baggage, and the vote created an unnecessary backlog. He believes Hall votes should be public, arguing transparency would improve the process as well as get major views.
