Jason Garrett talks restaurant, NFL roster cuts
The NBC Football Night in America studio analyst joined Dan fresh off of an invitation to DP to come down to his newly opened restaurant in Dallas. The pair chat about Garrett’s experience as both a coach and a player when it comes to roster cuts with the deadline for teams across the league nearing. While they won’t be cut, what is going to happen to the quarterback battle in Atlanta between Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Pennix Jr.? Garrett says that Pennix may have the advantage given that Atlanta’s offensive scheme is more pass-centric and his arm strength is a skill that Tua does not have to the same level.
