Rosenthal: Pujols, Carpenter could eventually be on trading block
FOXSports.com’s Ken Rosenthal joined guests hosts Seth Davis and Chris Mannix to talk about the big MLB stories as Spring Training opens.
Rosenthal thinks that if the Cardinals struggle, both Albert Pujols and Chris Carpenter could be on the trading block in mid-summer.
Rosenthal said that the Angles and Cubs are the two teams being most often mentioned as a potential landing spot down the road for Pujols.
Rosenthal said he’s in Nationals camp right now and everyone is saying nice things about Bryce Harper. He said that they’re moving him to outfield so he doesn’t have to compromise his hitting by using energy as a catcher.
Rosenthal also said that the Cubs are a potential surprise team this season and come out of the NL Central.
