Tom Zbikowski talks about going back to boxing
Baltimore Ravens safety Tom Zbikowski joined the show to talk about returning to the boxing ring because of the lockout.
Zbikowski said that he had a lot of nerves, but he’s ready to box now. Tom said he’s really into it. “I’m very serious. I’m down to cruiser weight. I’m fighting people more my size,” Zbikowski said.
Zbikowski said that Ed Reed, Haloti Ngata and a bunch of his Ravens teammates are coming to the fight. He wants Ngata to walk him into the ring.
He thinks that if Ngata gave him a year, he could turn him into the heavyweight champion of the year.
“He’s one of the best athletes I’ve ever seen,” Zbikowski said.
Zbikowski said that he is going to continue playing football and fight. He thinks he can win a title. And he’s sure he could beat anyone on the Ravens.
