Seth Davis: Watch out for older teams in Tourney
Sports Illustrated’s Seth Davis joined the show to talk about the NCAA Tournament and more.
Davis said watch out for Butler because the “muscle memory” of going to the championship game will help them in the Tournament.
Davis said North Carolina is playing well, but he’s nervous about how young they are. He said the Heels’ two best players are freshmen.
Davis said Duke needs to play better — specifically, Kyle Singler. But he thinks they’re dangerous because they have so much experience.
Davis also commented on BYU. He said that Brandon Davies was important, but they can replace him and the Cougars shouldn’t be dismissed.
Davis looked at the possible No. 1 seeds. He said Notre Dame has a great shot to grab one. And North Carolina will likely get one if they win the conference tourney.
Dan asked the mid-majors we should watch: Utah State, Belmont, Xavier and Old Dominion.
