Gordon Hayward on Butler, welcome to NBA moment
Utah Jazz rookie Gordon Hayward joined the show to talk about his season and Butler’s Tournament chances.
Hayward said he thinks Butler could go on a roll and advance pretty far. But he wouldn’t comment on the difference if he had stayed. “I don’t think you can say what would happen if I was there. I think it’s a completely different team,” Hayward said.
Dan asked Hayward his welcome to the NBA moment. He said he had to start against Carmelo Anthony, and had about five fouls in seven minutes.
Dan asked what he thought of the Deron Williams. “It opens up your eyes to the fact the NBA is a business,” Hayward said.
On a side note, Hayward said that Jimmer Fredette can make it in the NBA.
