Butler’s Stevens said refs made right call in Pitt game
Butler coach Brad Stevens joined the show to talk about their dramatic win over Pittsburgh on Saturday night.
“It’s a hard way to end what otherwise was one of the best college basketball games I’ve ever been a part of in my 11 years at Butler,” Stevens said.
But Stevens thinks the officials made the right call. “You gotta call the game until the game is over and I think they’ve made that clear,” Stevens said.
Steven said he’s a big fan of Pitt coach Jamie Dixon. He said Dixon is one of the “really good guys” in college hoops.
Stevens had some nice things to say about his star Matt Howard. He said he’s a natural winner and has proven himself as an academic star as well.
