Charles Barkley breaks down NCAA Tournament

TNT basketball analyst Charles Barkley joined the show to talk about the NCAA Tournament.

Barkley commented on all the close finishes. He said even veteran players get nervous, let alone young players. Barkley commented on the wild Butler-Pitt finale.

I can’t defend the kid from Pitt,” Barkley said. “There’s no excuse for that.”

Barkley also evaluated the big players in the Tourney. He is a bit worried about Ohio State star Jared Sullinger.

When he plays against bigger guys, that’s going to be interesting to watch,” Barkley said. “He doesn’t use a lot of Kevin McHale-like moves. … His whole life he’s been bigger than everyone else.”

Barkley also is a bit concerned about Jimmer Fredette. He said he’s like “Curly Neal” — trying to do everything by himself and not getting his teammates involved.
