John Thompson comments on Kemba Walker, his father’s advice
Georgetown coach John Thompson III joined the show to talk about his season and the NCAA Tournament.
Thompson had a lot of praise for UConn’s Kemba Walker. Thompson said he’s not that fast or strong, but he’s hard to stop. “Kemba just has a knack for putting the ball in the basket,” Thompson said.
Thompson said that his father calls win or lose, and always has lots of opinions. But he said he wouldn’t give him a hard time after a season-ending loss.
Thompson commented on why Georgetown and other schools don’t have the same kind of big men. He said it probably has something to do with players leaving early.
