SI’s George Dorhmann reports from Bonds trial
SI’s George Dohrmann joined the show from San Francisco to talk about the Barry Bonds perjury trial.
Dorhmann said Bonds’ ex-girlfriend Kimberly Bell was surprisingly convincing in her testimony about Bonds. Dorhmann said that Bell is one of many witnesses who was financially depending on Bonds and therefore vulnerable.
Dorhmann said that the worst-case scenario is a year of in-home confinement. That’s the worst anyone’s gotten among the BALCO perjury cases.
Dohrmann said Roger Clemens might be in worse shape because he has people close to him that will not crumble under questioning.
