Sean Miller talks about Derrick Williams’ future, breaks down Final Four
Arizona coach Sean Miller joined the show to talk about the NCAA Tournament and the Wildcats surprising season.
Miller talked about his star player Derrick Williams’ decision about the NBA. He said Williams has a tight circle with his mother and sister, and he’s close to the team. He said he’s taking a week to figure it out.
Miller said that Williams asked him if it was OK that he’s undecided. And Miller said that’s fine with him.
Miller also weighed in on UConn and star Kemba Walker. “They feed off the fact that Kemba is on their team,” Miller said. He also noted Connecticut has a very good defense.
Dan asked Miller to compare Jimmer Fredette and Walker. “Jimmer Fredette, on offense, is more prolific,” Miller said. He said Fredette is nearly unstoppable.
Miller goes with Butler over VCU because of Matt Howard and Shelvin Mack. And he’ll go with UConn over Kentucky, because the Huskies have the best player on the court in Walker.
