Jason Kidd talks about his future, MVP pick, Dirk’s legacy
Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Kidd joined the show to talk about their chances heading into playoffs and some of the other big stories in the NBA. Here are some of his takes:
— Dan asked Kidd the MVP. “I would have to go with Derrick Rose. He’s been consistent all season,” Kidd said.
— Kidd said that the young point guards are having a huge impact on the game and they’re very impressive.
— Kidd talked about how Dirk Nowitzki could come to be known as better than Larry Bird. “It’ll be tough because Larry’s won a championship. You have to have won one to be the best.”
— Dan asked Kidd if he’s coming back. “Ya,” Kidd said emphatically. “I have another year on my contract. I’m having fun.”
But Kidd said that he does feel a bit worn down. “My birth certificate says 38. My body feels 58,” Kidd said.
