Zac Jackson: Tressel made terrible mistake and had to go
FOX Sports Ohio’s Zac Jackson joined the show to talk about Jim Tressel’s resignation.
Jackson said that most Buckeyes fans thinks that Ohio State has been targeted unfairly. Jackson doesn’t think so. He said Tressel knew what he was doing and made mistakes.
“It doesn’t mean he’s a terrible person, but he made a terrible mistake,” Jackson said. “What happened yesterday had to be done.”
Jackson said that Ohio State still has a lot of talent in the program and claims it will be galvanized. Jackson said that the Buckeyes will face some challenges with a new coaching staff and players suspended. But the big question is what’s next, in terms of suspensions and sanctions. And Jackson thinks that Terrelle Pryor has probably played his last game at Ohio State.
“It seems like it could get real scary for Ohio State fans,” Jackson said.
