Sixteen-year old golfer talks about competing in U.S. Open

Sixteen-year-old golfer Beau Hossler Jr. joined guest host Chris Mannix to talk about competing in the U.S. Open.

Hossler said that he’s practicing with Anthony Kim today and working pretty hard on the course.

“I’d love to play with Phil Mickelosn,” Hossler said. “He’s my favorite player by far.”

Mannix asked if he would ask for any autographs. “I’m out here competing,” Hossler said. “i don’t want any autographs.”

Hossler said this is a good course for him to compete on because he’s a very accurate driver and Colonial puts a premium on hitting the fairway.

Mannix asked Hossler if he’d rather be QB of the high school team or do what he’s doing this week. “I’d rather be a professional golfer by far,” Hassler said
