Lusetich: There won’t be another Tiger any time soon
FOX’s Robert Lusetich joined guest host Chris Mannix to talk about the U.S. Open.
Lusetich said that Tiger missing the U.S. Open shows how badly he’s hurt, because he would do anything to be in this tournament.
Lusetich said there’s not another Tiger out there. “We sell short what this guy did,” Lusetich said. “This guy is just a freak. I don’t know that we’re ever going to see another one.”
Lusetich did say he thinks that Italian Matteo Manassero, who just turned 18, could be very special. Lusetich said that Manassero has a mental toughness that’s similar to Tiger.
Lusetich also likes Rory McIlroy, but thinks his mentality on the green may be an issue.
