King breaks down who’s headed where in NFL
Sports Illustrated’s Peter King joined the show to talk about NFL free agency and the the after-effects of the Lockout.
— King said that the thinks the Titans and Vikings will make a play for Matt Hasselbeck. But he doesn’t think that the Seahawks are interested in bringing back Hasselbeck.
— King thinks that the Bengals will just sit on Carson Palmer’s contract even if he chooses not to play. King said that owner Mike Brown will not get pushed around.
— King thinks L.A. will have to wait until 2014 for a team. “Plenty of cities right now are going to be able to use Los Angeles for leverage,” King said.
— King said that he doesn’t think the season will be pushed back. He thinks that preseason will be enough. Although teams may use their starters in the last preseason game. For example, the Carolina Panthers will have to play Cam Newton in that game.
