Is it OK to bunt to break up a no-hitter?
The Angels’ Erick Aybar bunted in the eighth inning of Justin Verlander’s no-hitter. There’s been a lot of controversy about Aybar. Verlander called it “bush league” after the game. Dan doesn’t have an issue.
“I have no problem with it,” Dan said. “I don’t care how I get a hit. My job is not to help Justin Verlander get a no-hitter.”
