Nick Swisher on Granderson, stealing signs, his new album
Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher joined the show to talk about the Yankees’ season and more.
Swisher agreed with Dan that Curtis Granderson is a legit MVP candidate. “He’s had such a tremendous year and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy,” Swisher said.
Swisher said signs are too complicated for him to steal and he doesn’t even get into that. He doesn’t think a lot of players want the signs.
Swisher also talked about his new children’s album. Swisher defended Dan’s claims that he wasn’t sure if it was appropriate for kids. Swisher said we were playing one song — Jumpin’ Jack Flash — that is a little more adult.
Dan asked the one Yankee who would come out of the Octagon. Swisher went with “Russell the Muscle” (Russell Martin).
