Andy Dalton talks about getting hit by Ndamukong Suh
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton joined the show to talk about starting even though he’s just a rookie.
Dan asked about the big hit he took from Ndamukong Suh. “I’m not worried about that. Getting hit is part of football,” Dalton said.
Dan asked if he thought Suh deserved a fine. “I was expecting to get a penalty,” Dalton. “I let the ball go and I think he was hitting me after the play. That happens in football.”
Overall, it didn’t sound like the hit was that big a deal. “It actually didn’t hurt,” Dalton said. “It happens, I can look back on it and kind of laugh about it now.”
Dalton said he’s more comfortable now than he was a few weeks ago and thinks he’s ready for the season.
