Dan says Ochocinco-Bruschi Tweet controversy all about the timing
Dan thinks that one of the reasons that Tedy Bruschi’s criticism of Chad Ochocinco got so much attention was because of the timing. Ochocinco Tweeted on a Tuesday. There’s not a lot of quotes out there yet on Tuesday morning, and the NFL media has to chew on something. That’s why the story blew up.
Dan said that an off-shoot of this story will be teams watching players Twitter feeds even closer. Dan thinks the directino were heading is teams forbidding Tweets, like Steve Spurrier at South Carolina.
