Dan: Stop making Terry Francona a scapegoat
Dan has an issue with the stories that are getting out there about former Red Sox manager Terry Francona. Dan, who started off with the disclaimer that he likes Terry personally, thinks that Francona doesn’t get enough credit for keeping that clubhouse together.
Dan said he’s not sure why some of the personal stories about Francona are out there. For example, Francona has asked everyone not to ask him about his son serving in Afghanistan. And the reality is, that’s his personal life. Dan doesn’t buy that this is a fair sports story.
