Kevin Millar comments on Pujols’ three home runs
MLB Network’s Kevin Millar joined the show to talk about the World Series and more.
Millar was wowed by Albert Pujols’ three home runs — especially the upper decker. Millar said even though it was over the middle, hitting a high 97 mph fastball is very hard to do and a batter’s swing has to be perfect.
Millar was impressed with Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland’s brilliant Game 4. Millar attributed Holland’s success to the mental game. “You could see he was just locked in,” Millar said. “He didn’t try to do too much.”
Millar likes the Cardinals in Game 5. “They’ve played must-win games for two months,” Millar said. He said the Cardinals “scrap” and will find a way to do it.
