Houston QB Case Keenum says Cougars can play with any team in nation

Houston Cougars quarterback Case Keenum joined the show to talk about their undefeated season and more.

Dan asked Keenum if he thinks the Cougars deserve to be in the title game. “I like our chances against anyone in the country,” Keenum said. “We’re a really good football team when we’re playing our best.”

Keenum is married and has graduated with a degree in sports administration. He acknowledged his wife got caught eating nachos on TV last week during a national game.

Dan asked Keenum who he thinks is the best quarterback in the nation. Keenum said Stanford’s Andrew Luck. Dan asked Keenum to compare himself to Luck and what does he do better. Keenum said he’s good at getting it out his hands and getting it to the playmakers.

Dan then asked Keenum what he’s been told about his NFL chances. “I’ve hard he’s too short,” Keenum said. “He doesn’t have enough arm strong. … I’ve heard that my whole life. I was not highly recruited. I was only recruited by one school. All you need is one chance.”
