Brian Billick on Tim Tebow, Caleb Hanie and coaches lying
FOX NFL analyst Brian Billick joined the show to talk about the bit storylines around the league.
Billick talked about Denver management not fully committing to quarterback Tim Tebow. Billick said that he thinks John Elway is being “brutally honest,” and his comments are consistent with what head coach John Fox said.
“This is a tough situation for John Fox,” Billick said. “I’m not sure they believe this is sustainable.”
Billick thinks that Caleb Hanie can keep the Bears afloat and help them reach the playoffs. He said that Hanie probably won’t be able to help them much in the playoffs.
Billick also talked about when coaches say they’re not taking a new job. He said you can’t trust him. He’s really seen this since he switched over from coaching to media.
