Chris Mannix explains how NBA will reward small-market teams
SI.com’s Chris Mannix joined the show to talk about the fallout of the NBA Lockout ending.
Mannix talked about how the new system will help small-market teams. “It makes it much easier for these small-market teams to re-sign their guys,” Mannix said.
Mannix looked at the Oklahoma City Thunder and how they got so good. He said they worked extra hard to draft these under-the-radar guys and should be rewarded for it.
Mannix said that the NBA dodged a huge bullet by having games back by Christmas. The impact will be a lot less.
