John Lynch on NFL futures of Barkley and Luck; compares Tebow and Elway’s popularity

FOX’s John Lynch joined the show to talk about the Pac-12 title game and the big stories in the NFL.

Lynch is broadcasting the Pac-12 game and is very impressed with Oregon coach Chip Kelly. He said they don’t necessarily have that much talent, but those formations make them so tough to beat.

Lynch talked about whether Matt Barkley should turn pro or not. Lynch said there’s a compelling case to return to try to win the title, but that’s not what he would do. “I’d be gone,” Lynch said.

Lynch even said if he were Andrew Luck, he would have left last year: “If I was Andrew Luck, I’d be in the NFL.”

Lynch is in Denver and thinks that Tim Tebow has inspired the whole team, including the defense. Lynch said that Tim Tebow is giving John Elway a run for his money in popularity in Denver. Lynch, however, said Tebow is still very polarizing. The difference is everyone in Denver like Elway.
