Mike Florio thinks behind the scenes there’s a play for Peyton Manning’s future
Profootballtalk.com and NBC NFL analyst Mike Florio joins the show to talk about his comments on Archie Manning.
Florio thinks Archie tipped his hand and has discussed a plan to resolve the Peyton Manning-Andrew Luck controversy.
Florio and Dan agree that the Colts won’t stay with Manning. Florio said they have to pay him $28 million or cut him loose. And with the health concerns, that’s too much.
“I know there’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes,” Florio said.
Florio thinks that Peyton wouldn’t want to go to Washington since he’s not a fit with offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan.
Florio thinks Peyton would probably want to return to Indy and have them trade Luck to get pieces that can help right away.
Florio also thinks that Brett Favre put out the latest Brett Favre story, just to keep his name in the news cycle.
