Indiana’s Tom Crean talks about last-second shot to beat Kentucky

Indiana coach Tom Crean joined the show to talk about the stunning win over Kentucky and more.

Crean talked about Christian Watford’s game-winning shot. Dan asked what he saw. “I had a great view of Christian’s form and his legs,” Crean said. “When he stays in his shot and doesn’t jackknife his legs, he’s an excellent shooter.”

Crean said that Kentucky coach John Calipari said very nice things after the game, including that if he had to lose, it was good to lose to a coach like Crean.

Crean said that there were many times he thought he may have made a mistake leaving Marquette. But Crean doesn’t feel that way now. “When it’s all said and done, we’ll look back and we never felt like it was worth it then, but it is,” Crean said.
