Cris Collinsworth weighs in on NFL coaching carousel and Tebow

NBC’s Cris Collinsworth joined the show to talk about the big stories around the NFL.

Collinsworth weighed in on the coaching carousel. He thinks Jeff Fisher is the hot guy in coaching circles right now.

Collinsworth also said that interim coach Romeo Crennel may have a chance to hold on to the Chiefs job, since their defense was playing so well before their loss to the Jets last Sunday.

Collinsworth said there’s a chance Les Miles and Chip Kelly could jump to the NFL, but he thinks teams may be nervous about college coaches still.

Collinsworth said that Tony Romo’s job is safe. Collinsworth also said he doesn’t think they’ll move on from coach Jason Garrett.

Collinsworth said he can’t remember a quarterback more disrespected than Tim Tebow who has proven more guys wrong. Collinsworth said there are a lot of quarterbacks coming into the league like Tebow and this could be a trend.

Collinsworth also thinks the Broncos may have a shot against the Patriots. “If somehow, someway the Broncos win that game, all Hell is going to break loose in the NFL,” Collinsworth said.
