Eddie George tells great stories about winning Heisman
Former NFL star and Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George joined the show to talk about
George told the story again of how his Heisman trophy got busted in an airport security line (JFK). Basically, the index finger is pointing the wrong way. He got it replaced, but now regrets he didn’t keep it that way.
George also told a story that he met his wife the night he won the Heisman Trophy. “I won two trophies that night,” George said.
George said that he voted for Robert Griffin III for the Heisman, noting even his losses he had monster games. But George said there were a lot of deserving players this season.
