Joe Montana comments on Rodgers’ incredible season, Tim Tebow, Peyton Manning

Hall of Famer Joe Montana joined the show to talk about the big stories in the NFL and more.

Dan asked Montana if he ever had a season like Aaron Rodgers is having right now. “The one he’s having right now is pretty phenomenal,” Montana said. “I’m not sure I’ve ever had a season like that. I’m not sure anybody has.”

Montana talked about how the rules used to be different. He said Jerry Rice and John Taylor would have had a lot of success.

Montana had some thoughts on Tim Tebow. He thinks he’s dangerous enough in the open field to get a first down, but not break a long one like Michael Vick. He thinks he’ll improve as a passer. “The accuracy will come,” Montana said.

Montana weighed in on Peyton Manning. Montana said that if you’re playing like you’re capable of, who cares who’s behind you.
