Rich Eisen on key to AFC playoffs, coaching carousel
NFL Network host Rich Eisen joined the show to talk about the big stories heading into wild-card weekend.
Dan asked Eisen today’s poll question: Saints, Packers or the rest of the field? Eisen likes either New Orleans or Green Bay.
Eisen said the key for New England could be Cincy vs. Houston. If the Bengals win, then they’ll go to New England. If Houston wins, the Steelers probably go to Foxboro. Eisen said the Pats really need a postseason victory this year.
Eisen also weighed in on the coaching carousel. He’s not convinced Lovie Smith will necessarily hold on to the Bears job throughout the offseason. Eisen said when you fire your GM, the new guy will often want to bring in his own guy. He also thinks Jim Caldwell will lose his job in Indy.
