Moose Johnston: 49ers most ‘fundamentally sound’ team in NFL
FOX’s Daryl “Moose” Johnston joined the show after calling the Saints-49ers game.
Moose had interesting comments on 49ers quarterback. “On Saturday, that was all Alex,” Johnston said. “He made some unbelievable throws at critical times.”
Moose weighed in on the upcoming Giants-49ers conference title game. He said that the Giants are a different team than they were earlier in the season with Osi Umenyiora healthy. Moose actually said that the Giants are actually pretty close to the Saints.
Moose talked about turnovers as big issues. He said that the Giants’ running back will fumble, and San Francisco’s defense has so much closing speed to disrupt ball-carriers. “I do think that San Francisco is as fundamentally sound as any team,” Johnston said. “They block and they tackle as well as any team in the NFL.”
