Dan weighs in on Joe Paterno’s death
Dan weighed in on the passing of Joe Paterno in the first segment of Monday’s show.
He said the first thing he thought of was an interview he did with Brent Musburger. The long-time broadcaster and close friend of Paterno told Dan that Paterno didn’t want to retire because he saw Bear Bryant pass away very soon after he stopped coaching.
Dan addressed the many positives of his career — the record, the service to the university, the longevity.
“This day, remember good things about Joe Paterno,” Dan said. “He earned it.”
