Harold Reynolds explains why Fielder should be happy in Detroit

MLB Network analyst Harold Reynolds joined the show to talk about Prince Fielder joining the Tigers and more.

Reynold said the Tigers make sense as a destination for Fielder. Because he knows they have an owner who invests in the team and a good pitching staff.

Reynolds also weighed in on the Giants signing Tim Lincecum to just a two-year deal. “I don’t think he wants to stay there long-term,” Reynolds said.

Dan pointed out that San Francisco has a great pitcher’s park. But HR said that you can’t make a mistake, because you’ll lose 1-0.

Reynolds also weighed in on the Dodgers sale.”Someone’s gonna come in and sign a big TV deal and that franchise is going to turn around quickly,” Reynolds said.

Reynolds agreed with Dan that the Yankees have quietly done a nice job this offseason. Reynolds thinks New York is also quietly working to try to get Felix Hernandez.
