Tony Dungy thinks Colts will draft QB even if Peyton gets healthy

NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined the show to talk about the Super Bowl and more.

Dan and Tony discussed Peyton Manning’s future and what the Colts will do moving forward.. “I think even if Peyton Manning is back with a clean bill of health, they’re still going to take Andrew Luck,” Dungy said.

Dungy likes Robert Griffin III a bit more than Luck right now, but he thinks the Colts will go Luck.

Dungy said he thinks Peyton got hurt in a game against the Redskins in 2006. Dungy said that Jim Sorgi started taking more reps in practice from then on out.

Dungy said that Peyton will be rooting hard for Eli and will volunteer knowledge on how to beat the Patriots.

Dan asked Dungy what coach-QB combo would he go with as the best ever. Dungy leans toward Bart Starr-Vince Lombardi.
