Wojnarowski on Billups’ future, Gasol trade rumors and Rubio impact
Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski joined guest host Chris Mannix to talk about the big storylines around the NBA.
Wojo discussed the Ricky Rubio craze. “He’s made passing vogue again among young players,” Wojnarowski said.
Wojnarowski said he talked to Chauncey Billups after his ACL injury. He thinks Billups is sincere that he expects to play again. Wojo said the Clippers willl really miss Billups because he’s been there in the postseason. He said Billups could be a “guiding light” for the Clips.
Wojnarowski commented on different trade rumors. He said don’t count out Houston as a potential trading partner with the Lakers for Pau Gasol. He said that the Rockets were crushed they didn’t get Gasol before the season started.
Wojo said that Lakers coach Mike Brown deserves credit for having the Lakers play defense. He said that the problem is flaws in the lineup.
Wojo also weighed in on Allen Iverson. He reported Iverson may play in Puerto Rico. Wojo said he’ll have to show teams he can play well to get there.
