Howie Long evaluates Tom Brady’s performance in Super Bowl

FOX NFL analyst Howie Long joined guest host Bonnie Bernstein to talk about the Super Bowl and more.

Long broke down elements of the game and looked at some of Tom Brady’s comments. He commented that the safety early on was a big deal. “Was it the right call by the official? I think it was,” Long said. Long said that it was a 9-point swing because of that play.

Long also said Brady couldn’t get enough on the ball on the Chase Blackburn interception. And Long talked about the ball Wes Welker almost caught. He thinks if Welker had caught it, then they would have won.

But Long was clear, there’s a lot of plays in a game. It didn’t come down to Brady. Just look at the fumbles that the Pats didn’t pull in.

Long commented on Giselle’s postgame comments. He thinks that hecklers should leave wives alone and really doesn’t have a problem with her trying to defend her husband.
