Seth Davis says Kentucky, Syracuse teams to beat
Sports Illustrated and CBS college hoops analyst Seth Davis joined the show to talk about the big stories around the NCAA.
Dan asked Davis what is the biggest story of the year. Davis hit on the Kentucky Wildcats. “Kentucky has distanced itself from the field,” Davis said. Davis said the Cats’ only weakness is 3-point shooting.
Davis also talked about Syracuse’s season, starting with the Bernie Fine scandal and now sitting at 27-1. Davis noted ‘Cuse has very little NBA potential on its team.
Davis thinks Syracuse and Kentucky would be each other’s hardest opponents. “I think my bosses at CBS and Turner would sign up for a Kentucky-Syracuse final,” Davis said.
Davis said the one powerhouse team that seems to be in trouble is Ohio State, who Davis said is trending in the wrong direction.
